All the different components included in this toolkit provide member countries with strategic guidelines on the planning, management, implementation and support of e-GP.

More specifically, they are designed to help governments to develop the institutional base that will lead the process, make a diagnosis of their current procurement environment, elaborate a strategic plan, understand the importance of selecting the right standards and elaborate a roadmap for the implementation of e-GP.

With the identification of the best practices and the use of these e-GP tools, governments will be able to make better decisions and be more effective in achieving their objectives in e-GP.
